Lucerne Valley California is located east of Apple Valley and Victorville California, south of Barstow, west of Johnson Valley and north of Big Bear.
 
Our town is a desert town, filled with sunny days, sand and wind, and desert rats, as alot of our community characters call themselves.
 
Lucerne Valley has approximately 9,000 people, an elementary , middle and high school. A general market, video store , a couple of gas stations, and a few small restaurants. What more do you need?
 
The County Service Area 29 of San Berandino County maintains two parks ,Pioneer Park, a grass filled, shady park with barbeque grills,a Little League field, the Lucerne Valley Skateboard Park and basketball court. Midway Park is an equestrian facility, which is one of the oldest buildings in Lucerne Valley. Orginally the first school house and then post office to serve the town.
 
The Lucerne Valley Community Center is  located at 33187 Old Woman Springs Road, where events, classes and meetings are held. The Lucerne Valley Municipal Advisory Council holds their monthly meetings there on the fourth Tuesday of every month at 6:00 p.m. The council is appointed for a four year term by First District Supervisor Brad Mitzelfelt. They are the eyes, ears and voice of the community.
 
The County Of San Bernardino also has the Janice Horst  Library and the Senior Center located near the Community Center. The BMX facility is also adjacent to the Community Center.
 
Lucerne Valley has many off road riders passing through boosting our economy.  Many off road events are held here each year.
